The NES emulator FCEUX has support for Lua scripts, which someone has used to add another level of erm.. 'gameplay' to this classic game! Well done to that programmer!

Put simply, if you own a Wii, you HAVE to buy this game. From the opening cinematics through right to the end of the main story, this game takes House of the Dead to the next level - only on WII!

The graphics are good (the inevitable slowdown isn't really noticable when you're actually playing the game), the storyline, music and voice acting is Mother F***ing B-movie-tastic, and the plastic gun is actually very good. Gore-tastic gun shooting action with up to 4 players, through special 4-player minigames and through an unlockable 'dual wield' mode for the main story, this game is fun for all the 18+ family!

So the Xbox NXE launched tonight, and very impressive it is too - especially the amount of stuff you can do whilst in-game. The UI is very polished, and is a huge improvement. The avatar customisation is pretty good as well. Say hello to the virtual us!

This King of the Cosmos is much too small. We would have preferred it bigger.

I've only had a chance to play this for a couple of hours, but first impressions are that this game is fantastic! The classes are quite balanced (though my favourite class the demoman now lacks detpacks and mirv grenades), medics are greatly improved, and the whole game just feels very polished (though that might just be the shiny cell shading). Well done valve!

Ars Technica reports that the Unreal Tournament 3 demo is due out sometime in the next 2 weeks, according to posts on the official forum.
Team Fortress 2 is also out tomorrow at $29.99 for those of you who haven't purchased the Orange Box. Shack News has the new 'meet the demoman' trailer up.

I'm really looking forward to this Wii game, it looks like it's taking shape very nicely!
