So i just upgraded a client with new PCs and moved them from Office 2010 to Office 2013, and tried to upgrade their Business Contact Manager server installation. Unfortunately, the database tool was having none of it, saying it couldn’t find a compatible database version.


Great. So i decided to manually update the database by doing a diff of a brand new database against the existing one.

Step 1

Backup your existing database! I can’t guarantee that the next steps won’t break your data, so make sure you backup.

Step 2

Update your DB using the following SQL (change the USE statement to match your database name): [download]

Step 3

Update the DB minor version in OrgTable to 1 from 0
